Singapore PR rejection: when to reapply

A rejection is not solved by waiting alone. The useful question is whether anything material has changed since the last file: role stability, salary continuity, family milestones, stronger local anchoring, or clearer evidence of contribution.

Signs it is too early

  • The profile looks mostly the same as the rejected file.
  • Only time has passed, without better continuity or stronger evidence.
  • The weak points are still present on paper.

Signs a reapplication may be stronger

  • Longer tenure, stronger salary record, or clearer progression.
  • Family or residence changes that now support settlement intent.
  • Cleaner documentation and a more coherent file narrative.
